Dr Tariq Mahmood graduated in medicine from Eastern Europe and later moved to Australia, where he completed his Australian Medical Council (AMC) examinations and achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). He has worked across a range of hospital specialties in North Queensland and Western Sydney, including Emergency Medicine, before completing his GP training in the Northern Rivers region of NSW and Western Australia.

Dr Mahmood enjoys all aspects of General Practice, with particular interests in mental health, chronic disease management, Indigenous health, and skin cancer medicine. He has completed certificates in Skin Cancer Medicine and Skin Cancer Surgery and provides skin checks and a range of skin cancer treatments. Dr Mahmood enjoys badminton, tennis and martial arts/karate.
